Who is Laci Strike?
Hi, I’m Laci Strike — dancer, choreographer, creative director and educator.
I’ve been dancing for 35 years and teaching for more than 22 years.
In 2003, I founded the Street Dance Academy, which has since become one of the most respected dance institutions in the region. Over the years, more than 10,000 dancers have trained with me through regular classes, workshops, camps, and special programs.
I also created an innovative dance-based educational program for elementary schools, designed to combine movement, rhythm, and creativity. The program quickly became extremely popular — children were actively dancing during every class, engagement levels were high, and the concept spread rapidly across the country.
As a creative director and choreographer, I have worked on major concerts, stadium shows, national tours, TV productions, and large-scale live events. My work includes collaborations with the Slovak National Theatre, choreography for television reality shows, numerous music videos, and long-term cooperation with leading artists and production teams.
I have been trusted with creative leadership on projects involving thousands of performers and audiences of tens of thousands, where choreography, movement, storytelling, and visual concept all come together into one cohesive experience.
In addition, I organize some of the largest summer dance camps in my country. Over the years, more than 18,000 children and young dancers have taken part in these camps, many of whom later continued into professional dance careers or became instructors themselves.
Online, my global community continues to grow. My TikTok platform has reached over 1.3 million followers, connecting dancers and dance lovers from the USA, Mexico, Brazil, across Europe and beyond. Through short-form content, education, and inspiration, I help people break mental barriers around dance and movement.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with multiple generations of dancers — from complete beginners to professionals — and one thing has always stayed the same:
dance is for everyone, when it’s explained clearly and taught with respect.
